Grounds 2 Play is
a documentary film series consisting of short videos that discuss the importance of playgrounds for children, specifically playgrounds in Metro Manila. As Gen Z children, we have different and varying experiences with playgrounds to those of this generation, especially with the pandemic. The videos are easy-to-understand, short, and visually appealing, made for the viewing of the general public.
Our Goals
Become an eye-opener
We want to provide an example of the state of playgrounds in Metro Manila.
Raise Awareness
We intend to increase public awareness about the shortage of playgrounds and their poor maintenance and how it can affect children.
More playgrounds
We also want to encourage LGUs as well as private sectors to develop and maintain green and open spaces like playgrounds.
Our Project
In the introduction to the series, we discuss the effects of playgrounds in a child’s early development.
